Frequently Asked Questions
How does our PSA oxygen concentrator work?
The core component is a synthetic Zeolite Molecular Sieve housed in two cylinders (towers). Zeolite has a high affinity for adsorbing nitrogen gas under pressure.
The process is a two-step cycle:
1.Adsorption: A compressor forces ambient air into the first tower. Under pressure, the zeolite adsorbs (traps) nitrogen molecules, allowing primarily oxygen and argon to pass through and be collected as product gas for the patient.
2.Desorption: Once the first tower becomes saturated with nitrogen, the system automatically switches. The first tower is vented to release the pressure, causing it to desorb (release) the trapped nitrogen as waste gas back into the air. Meanwhile, the second tower pressurizes and begins its adsorption phase to ensure an uninterrupted flow of oxygen.
This cycle repeats continuously, with the towers alternating between adsorption and desorption, to provide a steady stream of oxygen.
What is our PSA oxygen generator's advantage?
• Safety: Eliminates the dangers associated with high-pressure oxygen cylinders, such as the risk of explosion or tipping. Oxygen is generated on-demand from the air.
• Cost-Effectiveness: After the initial investment, the operating cost is significantly lower than regularly refilling or replacing heavy oxygen tanks.
• Convenience: Provides an endless supply of oxygen as long as there is electrical power, freeing users from the logistics and physical strain of managing tank deliveries.
• Consistent Purity: Delivers a reliable oxygen output with a concentration of 93% (±3%).
Which is very suitable for industry and aquaculture long-term using.
• User-Friendly: Modern units are quiet, portable, and feature intuitive controls and alarms, empowering patients with independence and mobility.
How to choose the right PSA oxygen generator for aquaculture?
1.Determine Requirements: Calculate your total oxygen flow rate (LPM/m³/h) requirement based on your biomass and system. Determine the necessary outlet pressure based on your water depth.
2.Source Industrial Units: Only contact suppliers of industrial oxygen generators. Clearly state your application is for aquaculture.
3.Compare Specifications: For shortlisted models, compare:
• Flow Rate (at the purity and pressure you need)
• Power Consumption (kW)
• Warranty and Service Support
• Availability of spare parts (especially filters)
4.Consider Redundancy: For critical applications, consider installing multiple smaller units instead of one large one. If one unit fails, the others can still operate, preventing a total wipeout.
5.Plan the Dissolution System: Remember, the concentrator is only half the system. You also need appropriate low-pressure oxygen tubing, valves, and efficient diffusers (e.g., nano-bubble diffusers) to actually get the oxygen into the water.
1.Calculate how many cubic meters of oxygen per hour are required?
There are two types of production of oxygen.
• Direct connection to the hospital oxygen supply system In Hospital oxygen production, each patient requires oxygen of 2-3L/min,requiring 0.12m³/hour.
• Filled oxygen cylinders
For filling oxygen cylinders,it is necessary to determine the type of oxygen cylinder and the working pressure.
E.g.,40L/200bar oxygen cylinder, 40*200=8000L, about 8m³ oxygen capacity, 100 bottles are filled per day, 100*8=800m³ oxygen/day, the oxygen generator works for 20 hours, 800/20=40, then the 40m³ oxygen generator is your model.
2.Tell us the altitude of your local area
Normal poster below 1km. Higher altitudes require additional compressors
3. Determine your local voltage and frequency
• Indonesia, Thailand, Pakistan, Kenya, Nigeria, etc.: 380 V, 50 Hz, 3 Phases.
• Philippines, Dominican Republic, etc.: 220 V, 60 Hz, 3 Phases.
• India, etc: 415 V, 50 Hz, 3 Phase.
